Harmony Guitar Show

Sometime in the future I would like to organize a guitar show exclusively for Harmony guitars and other Harmony instruments.
This would include most of the Silvertone and other "Private Label" made Harmony instruments.

I think the ideal location would be somewhere in the middle of the USA, perhaps Kansas City or Omaha. Of course, Chicago would be the premier spot, bit I live so far from there it would be hard to put something together there. Perhaps for show #2 or #3, depending on the response and turnout.

I have run conventions before, and they can be costly. The first show might be done on the cheap with a location for showing and a swap meet without meals or accomodations.

Let me know what you think about this idea and any suggestions about putting it all together.

It has come to my attention that there are quite a number of pro players out there that use Harmony guitars. This is great to hear!
The more that Harmony instruments get noticed on stage the more collectable they become and the higher the values go. (Bad news for those wanting to buy cheap)

Now to all you hobby players, don't feel slighted, you are very much appreciated, as the entire Harmony company was built around the hobbiest.

The information I am looking for on this post is concerning pro players who use Harmony guitars as their main instrument.

Hello to all who have visited my website!

As most of you know, I am a professional entertainer. I travel extensively and am away from home about 250 days per year, so I do not have near enough time to keep the Harmony site updated like I want.

But, I want the site to be more interactive, so I am creating this blog.

I will write things as often as I can and you can use the comment feature to have your say.

Please keep it clean! I will delete any obscene posts and if it is abused, I will discontinue it entirely.

Now for the first subject......and tooting my horn a bit....

The song "Mississippi Mud Dog" from my "Pickin' On Harmony" album is included on the sound track for an upcoming program on the BBC!

We signed a contract with them and they will use the song on the program "Natural World" and the episode is called "Mississippi".

It will air in the U.K. November 25 and will be seen on BBC America and on The Discovery Channel later this year or early next year.
So we got an ALL VINTAGE HARMONY song in the film industry!
